Sintu Manjezi is a versatile South African rugby player known for his prowess in both the back-row and second-row positions. In the summer of 2022, Manjezi made the move to Glasgow Warriors, bringing his dynamic skill set to the team.

Standing at an imposing 6'6", Manjezi first gained recognition in South African schoolboy rugby, where he captained St Andrew's College first XV. His impressive performances led to his inclusion in the Eastern Province Academy, marking the beginning of his professional rugby journey.

At the young age of 20, Manjezi made his Currie Cup debut for Eastern Province, making 15 appearances in the 2016/17 season. He later moved to the Griquas, where his talents continued to shine. His impactful displays caught the attention of the Toyota Cheetahs, earning him a move to the Bloemfontein side.

With his dynamic playing style, Manjezi played a vital role in helping the Cheetahs secure a place in the Guinness PRO14 playoffs in 2019. It was a significant achievement as it marked the first time a South African franchise had reached the knockout stages in the competition.

Off the field, Manjezi pursued his studies at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth. Prior to turning professional, he also represented Eastern Province U19 in cricket, showcasing his versatility as an athlete.

In his early rugby career, Manjezi honed his skills in the FNB Varsity Cup, South Africa's premier university competition, playing for FNB NMMU before joining the Tafel Lager Griquas. His impressive performances eventually led him to Bloemfontein, where he represented the Free State Cheetahs in the PRO14 and contributed to their successful Currie Cup campaign in 2019.

Manjezi's impact on the field is evident through his robust and uncompromising playing style. His strength in the scrum, prowess in the lineout, and ability to secure turnovers make him a valuable asset to any team. Additionally, his versatility allows him to adapt and contribute effectively in different positions, including the side of the scrum.

In June 2020, Manjezi signed a deal with the Bulls, further showcasing his abilities and commitment to the sport. With his move to Glasgow Warriors, he adds strength and depth to the team's forward pack, and his contributions both on and off the field are sure to make a lasting impact.
