Bath Rugby can confirm its squad for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
The playing squad have been back in training over recent weeks in readiness for the forthcoming 2025/26 campaign.
Bath Rugby’s newest additions Henry Arundell, Dan Frost, Chris Harris, Bernard van der Linde, and the ‘Class of 2025’ have been settling into the surroundings at Farleigh House, the club’s training HQ.
British and Irish Lions players Finn Russell and Will Stuart plus those involved in the 2025 Rugby Championship for Argentina and South Africa - Santi Carreras and Thomas du Toit - will see a phased return to club action following the conclusion of their respective rest periods and international duty.
During last season, several players committed their future to Bath Rugby, with Tom Carr-Smith, Jaco Coetzee, Tom Dunn, Ollie Lawrence, Beno Obano, Ewan Richards, Quinn Roux, Finn Russell, Ben Spencer and Ethan Staddon all renewing their contracts with the club.
Several senior academy players also extended their time with the club, including the likes of Ciaran Donoghue, Arthur Green and Vilikesa Sela.
Enoch Opoku-Gyamfi is promoted to the senior academy after a successful scholarship with the University of Bath last season, while the partnership with the University is further strengthened this season with the inclusion of seven scholars in our wider squad.
Bath Rugby can also confirm that Kieran Verden has rejoined the club for the 2025/26 season.
The Blue, Black and White are preparing for their pre-season games next month, when they will face Scottish heavyweights Glasgow Warriors on Saturday 6 September (kick-off 15:00) before away trips to Munster Rugby (Friday 12 September, kick-off 19:00) and Worcester Warriors (Friday 19 September, kick-off 19:45).
The Virgin Media Park stadium will host the game against Munster as part of Bath's training camp in Ireland as Johann van Graan returns to his former side for the first time since leaving in 2022.
A Bath United team will then face Worcester the following Friday at Sixways Stadium.
These warm-up fixtures are in preparation or Bath's fourth season under the leadership of van Graan, with Exeter Chiefs first up in the PREM Rugby Cup on Saturday 20 September (kick-off 15:05) as Bath begin their defence of the trophy.
The focus then shifts to PREM Rugby action with Bath's trip to Harlequins on Friday 26 September in Round 1 (kick-off 19:45).
