Furlong seen at Ireland's captains run
- 252
Tadhg Furlong was seen training on his own during Ireland’s captains run today, following his omission from the matchday 23 for tomorrow’s Six Nations opener against France. While the Campile native has been sidelined by a persistent calf injury, his individual work on the pitch in Paris follows comments from the coaching staff that he has "progressed really well" after taking part in earlier sessions in Portugal. Although he will not feature in tomorrow's match at the Stade de France, his solo training suggests he is continuing his rehabilitation process as he aims for a potential return in Round 2.
