An action-packed game as Ireland secures the triple crown against Scotland at the Aviva. Ireland outplayed and out muscled Scotland to win the match 43-21.

Here are some key moments from the match.

In the opening 2 minutes Ireland get a scrum penalty and Crowley opts for the corner, they secure the lineout and put Scotland under pressure. They play through the hands and Osborne runs a great line to score.

14 minutes in and Scotland are on the attack just outside Ireland’s 5m line, McCloskey makes a big hit and the ball spills out of hands and Ireland win it back and clear their lines to push Scotland back into their half.

Ireland get a scrum outside the Scottish 22, Gibson-Park plays it to Crowley and McCloskey makes a cut out pass to Baloucoune who races down the field, slips through Kinghorn’s tackle and dives into the corner.

Dan Sheehan makes a big turnover after a Scotland setup an attacking lineout on the Irish 5m line. They clear their lines and push Scotland back into their own half.

10 minutes into the second half Ireland concede a penalty and are pinned in their own half. Scotland use their forwards to set up 12 phases until the ball goes out to Finn Russell who shows and goes, to score in the corner.

Ireland responds shortly after with a try to stretch their lead, after the restart Scotland run the ball from their half all the way up the field for Darge to finish it and make it a 5-point ball game.

In the last 10 minutes Ireland get a penalty for tackler not rolling away, Crowley slots it over to take the game further away from Scotland.

Ireland get a penalty just a step from their own try line after surviving a Scottish onslaught. They clear their lines keeping Scotland out.   

In the dying moments of the game, Tuipolotu spills the ball and McCloskey gathers it and pops it to Tommy O'brien who races away for the last try and play of the game.
