Jean‑Luc du Preez has earned a recall to the Springboks' 54‑man training squad ahead of the mid‑year internationals. Coach Rassie Erasmus retained him in the latest selection, marking Du Preez’s return to national contention since his previous appearances in 2023.
The 29‑year‑old Sale Sharks forward brings valuable versatility, capable of packing down at lock or flanker, a skill set the Springboks are strengthening as they gear up for the Rugby Championship and a packed test calendar.
