The combative back-row currently plays for Romanian club side Timisoara Saracens, and has also won three national titles at Dinamo Bucharest. His international call up came in 2006 in a match against France and four years later was part of the side that lifted the Nations Cup. Burcea has 51 caps and four tries for Romania at time of writing, and will add to that at the 2015 world cup in England.
