Grégoire Bazin started playing rugby at the age of 14 in the Nantes region. Three years later, he joined Vannes in the Crabos (U18) category.
His rise was rapid, as after just one season with the Espoirs (U21) team, he became a regular member of the Vannes professional squad. He made his Pro D2 debut on September 6, 2019, in a victory at the Stade de la Rabine against Oyonnax.
At only 23 years old, he has already played 68 Pro D2 matches, starting 40 of them and scoring four tries. Grégoire Bazin has also experienced international rugby, having been called up to the French U20 team for two training camps during the 2020 Six Nations Championship.
