Hendrikse gets the second half underway for the Lions

The Lions take a 19-6 lead over the Dragons into halftime. The sides traded early penalties before a second for the Lions put them up 6-3. The Lions then picked up a yellow card, allowing the Dragons to draw level with a shot at goal. The Lions edged ahead with a drop goal to make it 9-6. The Dragons picked up a yellow card around the half hour mark and the Lions capitalized immediately with a try and added a penalty with the final play of the half for a 13 point advantage at the break.
