in rugby, such as the fact that Jakkie Cilliers is the best goal kicker in
the women’s game in South Africa. Bulls Daisies representative Cilliers,
shattered the points scoring record in the SA Rugby Women’s Premier
Division in 2024, scoring 178 points, with 128 of those coming off the tee in a
unique display of accuracy, distance and big match temperament, a crucial
part of a goal kicker’s arsenal. Cilliers, a real utility player who can cover
fullback, wing and centre, transitioned from provincial cricket into provincial
rugby and then test match rugby for the Springbok Women, where she has
scored 106 points in 19 test matches already and represented her country
at the 2022 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Cilliers also represented
the Springbok Women’s Sevens earlier in her career. She holds a teaching
