Nick studied at Exeter College and represented them in the RFU ACE Leagues. The 19-
year-old centre progressed through the Exeter Chiefs academy, playing for the U18s in
two Premiership Rugby Academy League campaigns.
Capped at U18, U19 and U20 age-grades for his country, Lilley most recently featured in
an U19 fixture away to France following on from his first U20 Six Nations campaign.
Lilley played in four of England's five U20 Six Nations matches in 2025, with a
breakaway run setting up Dom Hanson to seal a 27-10 win. Elsewhere in 2024/25, he
amassed 14 appearances for the University of Exeter alongside teammates Kane James
and Ben Coen.
