Jordan Lay, born on November 5, 1992, is a Samoan rugby union player who has represented Samoa on 24 occasions. He has played club rugby for various teams, including Pro14 side Ospreys on loan from Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

Lay was born in Samoa but moved to New Zealand at the age of 3 with his parents. He grew up in Auckland and attended school there.

His professional playing career started to take shape when he joined Pro14 side Edinburgh Rugby in December 2017 for the remainder of the season. Prior to that, he had a successful 2017 ITM Cup campaign with Bay of Plenty. Lay's request to be added to Edinburgh's European Challenge Cup squad in January 2018 was not granted.

Lay has represented Samoa at the international level. He was named in Samoa's 34-man training squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup and ultimately made it into the final 31-man squad for the tournament.

In terms of his club rugby journey, Lay made his way into the Bay of Plenty side in 2016 after relocating from Auckland to Tauranga alongside his brother James. He progressed through the ranks, starting from Auckland's renowned King's College first XV.

In December 2017, Lay signed with Pro14 side Edinburgh Rugby and stayed with the team until the end of the 2017/18 season. He then joined Bristol ahead of the 2018/19 season, where he reunited with his brother. Both brothers were named in the Samoan Squad for the Pacific Nations Cup.

Jordan Lay's contributions as a front-row player have been notable, both at the club level and representing Samoa internationally.

Ahead of the World Rugby Cup 2023, Lay has been named in the squad for Samoa.
