McNulty joined the Warriors Academy in 2014, having played for Coventry, Broadstreet and Barker Butts RFC in Warwickshire.
He won Academy Player of the Season at Coventry in 2012/13 and has also represented the England Under 19 Colleges team.
McNulty studied Sports Science at De Montfort University, Leicester and Henley College, Coventry, and featured for Worcester Cavaliers during the 2013/14 campaign.
Tighthead prop McNulty, formerly of Coventry and Worcester Warriors, joined Harlequins for the 2017/18 season from Gloucester Rugby.
In December 2018, he signed a loan deal with Coventry Rugby.
2021 saw him link up with Nottingham for the 2020/21 season.
