The 1st two rounds of the Mens group games are complete with plenty of talking points. The biggest being that Japan beat NZ in the opening game followed by both Sonny Bill Williams and Joe Webber being ruled out of the Games due to injury.
Fiji, South Africa and Great Britain are all unbeaten and lead their groups with their toughest test to come in the final group game. Fiji face USA, Great Britain vs NZ and South Africa face Australia as the sides look to finish top. With 3 groups in the competition, the top 2 are guarenteed a Quarter Final spot with the 2 best 3rd place finishers also qualifying.
Today will see the final group games and the Quarter Final's with the Semi Final's and Medal Matches on Thursday
