United Rugby Championship: Final Rescheduled Games Confirmed

The United Rugby Championship has announced that the last of the postponed fixtures now have confirmed dates and kick-off times.

The R12 fixture between Cardiff Rugby and Zebre Parma that was postponed in February due to severe weather, will now take place on Friday, May 6 at Cardiff Arms Park (KO 19:35 UK) with BBC Wales acting as host broadcaster (also live on Premier Sports, SuperSport, Mediaset and URC.tv).

The R9 Italian derby between Benetton Rugby and Zebre Parma that was postponed due to positive Covid-19 results in the playing squads, has been scheduled for Saturday, May 14 at Stadio Mongio (KO 17:30 Italian) with Mediaset acting as host broadcaster (also live on Premier Sports, SuperSport and URC.tv).

Cardiff Rugby v Zebre Parma (Cardiff Arms Park, Cardiff)

KO: 19:35 UK / 20:35 ITA/SA


R9 – Saturday, May 14

Benetton Rugby v Zebre Parma (Stadio Monigo, Treviso)

KO: 16:30 UK / 17:30 ITA/SA


After the completion of rescheduling the outstanding fixtures, URC Tournament Director, David Jordan, said: “In total we have had to reschedule 25 fixtures due to disruption from the pandemic, bad weather and stadium availability issues so we are very pleased to have finalised these games.

“It has been particularly challenging for our teams, players and broadcast partners to cope with rescheduling of so many games, but we are grateful for all of stakeholders who faced these circumstances with a solution-first approach. Fans can now enjoy the remaining games as we build up to the first-ever United Rugby Championship Play-Offs.”
