The winger called "the rocket" for his very fast performances that usually end with tries has registered a lot of good results with Romania. He is part of the team in Baia Mare and has won four national titles and two Romanian Cups. Botezatu made his debut for both the Bucharest Wolves and the Oaks in 2009. For the Wolves he played 20 games and for Romania he already has 26 caps and 15 points. 2015 will be his first World Cup having been selected in the 31-man Romanian squad.
