Healy was born in Alexandria, Virginia but now resides in Knocknacara, Co. Galway.
Mary made her Ireland debut against England in the first ever Autumn International between the sides in 2015.
She plays her club rugby with Galwegians and provincially with Connacht.
Mary previously played hockey before taking up rugby in 2012.
The all-action scrum half bring a physical edge to her game, she offers a threat around the edges with a quick turn of pace.
Mary has won 8 appearances for Ireland and has been named in the 2017 6 Nations squad.
