Try Lions. Anthony Volmink has scored a very controversial try. The ball was chipped through and the Cheetahs defender Smit had deemed to put the ball down on his line. Ref takes it to TMO who says no try, the ref disagrees with the TMO and awards the try as he thinks a ruck was formed. Jantjes gets his conversion so the Cheetahs now lead by 3. 23-20 Cheetahs with 15 minutes left.

Lions have been much better in this half and have played the ball mostly in the Cheetahs half.
