All over here at Scotsoun and to the delight of the home support, Glasgow have clinched a crucial win over fellow title contenders Leinster. After a dour display from both sides in the opening 40, the hosts looked dangerous in the second period and showed some endevour going forward. As for Leinster, there's lots of work to be done for Matt O'Connor and his coaching ticket after a display which lacked any sort of intensity or penetration from neither forwards or backs. Leinster will only get better from here, especially when they welcome back the likes of Cullen, Heaslip, O'Driscoll and co. Thanks for following our coverage this evening. Hopefully you all enjoyed our experience, despite the lack of entertainment in the game itself. Until next time.

As bad a Leinster display as I've ever seen

Leinster lineout misfires when most needed and the ball is booted downfield. Under heavy pressure Kearney puts it into touch and the final whistle goes here at Scotstoun

60 seconds left on the clock and Leinster earn themselves a penalty. Gopperth puts them into touch ten metres out from the Glasgow line.

Some enterprising play takes Glasgow to within metres off the Leinster line once again but the visitors come up with a much needed turnover to keep their slim hopes of a comeback alive. Glasgow just need to keep hold of the ball but are pinged at the breakdown for holding on.

Glasgow go to the driving maul and finally get their just rewards for 35 minutes of pure dominance. Yanuyanutawa finishes well having broken off the back

Leinster pinged at the scrum once more. This time its Martin Moore. Jackson opts to go down the line and brings play into the Leinster 22. Prime attacking ball here for the hosts

Glasgow once more on the front foot here and are in possession just inside the Leinster half. The hosts have looked the more menacing of the two sides in the second period but haven't been able to turn possession into points
