Full time here in this LV=Cup clash and Newcastle have beaten Newport Gwent Dragons by 29 points to nil. After a brilliant first half by the home side were they scored 3 tries, the game quietened down in the second and Newcastle only just got the bonus point try with two minutes left on the clock. One of the, if not the, performances of the season from Newcastle who will be hoping that they will be able to use the motivation from this victory to help them climb up the league table. An extremely poor performance from the Dragons who never made any impact on the game whatsoever and will need to regroup before next weeks game against Edinburgh
