Very true George
Tbh the ref was a shambles. The only thing he got right it seemed was the two yellow cards. Should have been more, and two perfectly good tries disallowed. Wales lacking in skills and ideas, but still should have been 30pt victory. Intercept at the end entirely a product of frustration caused by this. Referee as culpable as anybody for a very strange result.
Terrible. But anomalous. It's always the same every year. Be a different game again next week.

Full time at The Millennium Stadium. Wales scrap a narrow victory over Fiji. A good start to the game from the Welsh soon dissipated as the game became error strewn and disjointed. Too many handling errors and not enough clinical finishing from the Welsh meant that Fiji were able to stay within touching distance for the 80 minutes. Three tries for Wales in the first forty put them in a commanding lead at the break. A red card in the 52nd minute for Ma'afu seemed like the beginning of the end for the Flying Fijians. But, credit to the Islanders, they defended well in the second half and remained disciplined to prevent Wales from scoring. A late intercept try from Nadolo in the final minutes was not enough though to clinch a late win for the visitors. Wales hung on, barely, to win by 17-13. Liam Williams was named man of the match for his solid performance at 15. Thanks for staying with out live coverage this afternoon. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
