Frédéric Michalak returns at fly-half, partnering Sébastien Tillous-Borde at half-back, with Scott Spedding being the only survivor from last weekend’s back line as Yoann Huget and Noa Nakaitaci come in on the wings and Mathieu Bastareaud partners Wesley Fofana in midfield.

Louis Picamoles gets another run at number eight, joined in the back row by Bernard le Roux and Damien Chouly.

Pascal Papé captains France in the second, joining another survivor in Yoann Maestri, while a new front row sees Eddy Ben Arous, Guilhem Guirado and Rabah Slimani combine.

France were defeated 19-14 by England in last Saturday’s first warm-up match at Twickenham.

Pap takes over form last week’s captain Dimitri Szarzewski who drops out of the matchday group.
