France Lose Bernard Le Roux For Opening Six Nations Clashes

France utility forward Bernard Le Roux is set to the opening three games of the Six Nations after suffering a knee injury that should see him sidelined for about 6 weeks.

Le Roux left the field in the 36th minute in Racing 92's 46-33 win over Scarlets in the final round Champions Cup pool stages.

He is now set to miss France's clashes against Wales, England and Scotland but could return in time for France's final two games against Ireland and Italy.

Le Roux was talked up as a potential starter at lock for the Six Nations, having made a success of his positional switch from the back-rower to the second rower.

Jacques Brunel is yet to name a replacement.
