Joaquín Tuculet ruled out for 6 months with knee injury

Jaguares and Pumas fullback Joaquín Tuculet suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee and will be approximately out for six months.

Tuculet sustained the injury in their 23-19 victory against Chiefs at the weekend.

"Tuculet ended up with a rare average discomfort in his knee, so we prayed that he would be fine," said Jaguares head coach before leaving the field.

An MRI scan has confirmed that the fullback is likely to be sidelined for up to 6 months.

Jaguares returned to Argentina on Sunday afternoon, and will only play again on Saturday, May 19, against Bulls in Vélez.
