Lions Watch: Jason Robinson Scores Spectacular Try From 2001 Lions Tour

Having switched codes from Rugby League to Union in 2000, Jason Robinson made his England debut in the 2001 Six Nations against Italy.

Following on from his impressive displays for England, Robinson's ability was clear for all to see and he was selected to tour Australia with the British & Irish Lions in the summer of that year.

Australia were the dominant force in world rugby at the time with a first Tri-Nations and second Rugby World Cup resting in their trophy cabinet. Making the tour down under a scary prospect for all involved.

However, it didn't all go to plan for the Wallabies as the Lions rolled into Brisbane and produced a performance that is still being talked about to this day.

Robinson, who yet to make a start for England, stole the show with only two minutes on the clock.

As Chris Latham closed in, Robinson was too quick and skilful for the Australian as he danced to the outside into the corner for the first try of the night.
