The Scottish side showed great character after being down by three tries and a man at half time against the mighty Leinster

Leinster started in typical fashion as Harry Byrne opened the scoring with a converted try after just 2 minutes.

Leinster continued to put early pressure on the Scottish side and they doubled the score when they were awarded a penalty try only 7 minutes later.. Cole Forbes went to the bin for tackling a man in the air which was deemed to stop a clear scoring opportunity.

Despite the yellow card, Glasgow managed to score their opening try through Thomas Gordan after 15 minutes. Hastings added the extras.

5 minutes later, Leinster scored their third try of the game after Scott Penny went over. Harry Byrne added the extras.

Glasgows night took a turn for the worst when Adam Hastings was sent after his boot connected Kelleher in the face when going for the ball.

Leinster wrapped up their bonus point with a minute to go before half time, Scott Penny scoring his second of the game. Hawkshaw added the extras.

Glasgow came out for the second half like a team possesed, despite being a man down, they  scored two tries in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Rufus McLean & Huw Jones scoring and Ross Thompson adding both conversions.

That brought the deficit to just 7 points.

From that point, Leinster started to take control off the game after Glasgow went down to 133 men after TJ Ioane went to the sin bin.

Despite Hawkshaw missing the penalty with 10 minutes to go, Leinster wrapped the game up when Luke McGrath scored a converted try and Cian Kelleher  scored a later try to seal a 40-21 victory.
