NZ v RSA: Key Moments

The Springboks ran in 6 tries, to inflict the biggest defeat that the All Blacks have suffered since 2023, after losing to South Africa 35-7 at Twickenham. We take a look at some of  the key moments in the match.

In the 10th minute, the Springboks were certain they had scored through Cheslin Kolbe, however a tackle from Jordie Barrett saw the ball rip from Kolbe, who had already crossed the try line. 

Two minutes later RG Snyman thought he had scored a try as well, but was denied after a Cobus Reinach knock on in the build up, denying the Springboks again.

Cheslin Kolbe was a man on a mission, securing an interception that got the Springboks on the board. In the 56th minute, Cobus Reinach could not get his handling right as a momentum killing knock on almost altered the Springbok trajectory. 

However, the floodgates opened for the Springboks after the 60th minute with Willemse and RG Snyman amongst those who put their names on the scoreboard as they scored 36 unanswered points to demolish the All Blacks securing the bonus point.
