Pocock’s Super Rugby return delayed

David Pocock has returned to Canberra ahead of the 2018 Super Rugby season.

Upon his return from playing in Japan, he sought out medical advice for a complaint with his knee.

Following consultation with his orthopedic surgeon, the Brumbies and David were informed that it would be in the best interest of both parties that he underwent a minor operative procedure.

The surgery took place on 20 January and identified damage to his meniscus. Pocock is set to return to play in three months, meaning he will miss the opening few rounds of the Super Rugby season.
