Wales head coach Sean Lynn and captain Bethan Lewis speak after their 42-0 Pool B defeat by Canada at Salford Community Stadium.
Sean Lynn, head coach
On the performance:
"Disappointing. In the first 20 minutes, we were in their 22 and you just want to be coming away from there with points. We've seen improvements from last week for sure; seen glimpses of what we're trying to be and want to be brave. Every game we have to improve."
On how they can improve:
"Obviously we want to be physical in the breakdown but we want to be able to attack both side of the ruck. We've just got to make sure we pick the right moments to capitalise."
On the final game against Fiji:
"It's very important we go out with a bang. It's important that if we're getting these fast starts, we've finding momentum with points."
Bethan Lewis, captain
On the performance:
"Obviously there's disappointment with that finishing scoreline but the first 10-15 minutes, we showed what we can do. It's just about doing that for the full 80 and not allowing lapses of concentration. I'm proud of how we've come out after last week but I know we've got more to give."
On where the game got away from Wales:
"I think concentration in those key moments, like that try they scored straight from kick-off. We can't give them easy ins like that. The first 15, we kept them in their half; we've got to do that more consistently."
