Northampton Saints today confirm that Tom West, Fyn Brown, Will Glister, Emeka Atuanya, Billy Pasco, Marco Manfredi, Archie Appleby, Jack Lawrence and Siep Walta will leave the Club at the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
The group have made 76 appearances between them in Black, Green and Gold, and will move on to pastures new this summer.
“This is always a significant time of year for the group,” said Director of Rugby, Phil Dowson. “As we move towards the end of the Gallagher PREM season, we’re balancing the excitement of what still lies ahead with the reality that some players will soon be moving on from our squad.
“We talk a lot about connection, and about the value of every individual within our environment – the contribution of the whole squad is what underpins our performances.
“Every player at Saints wants to wear the Black, Green and Gold every weekend, and while that isn’t always possible, the professionalism and commitment shown by this group has been exceptional.
“The players departing this summer have made a real impact during their time here, and we are extremely grateful for everything they’ve given to Northampton Saints. We’ll have the chance to wish them well in due course, but for now our focus is firmly on finishing the season strongly, with important PREM fixtures still to come.”
All of the Club’s departing players will be recognised after Saints’ clash against Gloucester Rugby on Saturday 30 May (kick-off: 3pm), as part of the annual Leavers’ Ceremony following the final home match of the season.

TOM WEST
SAINT #2091, 34 APPS, 5 POINTS
Loosehead prop West joined Saints from Saracens ahead of the 2024/25 season, making his Northampton debut against Bath in September 2024.
In season one as a Saint, West clocked up 23 appearances in all competitions, featuring as a replacement in the Investec Champions Cup semi-final victory over Leinster at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The 30-year-old made more than 70 appearances for Wasps, having progressed through their academy, and was with Wasps when they folded in 2022. He spent time at Leicester Tigers and in north London before arriving at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
Injuries have played their part in limiting West to 11 appearances so far during the 2025/26 campaign.
FYN BROWN
SAINT #2096, 15 APPS, 15 POINTS
Back rower Brown is another player who was with Wasps at the time of their collapse in 2022.
The 23-year-old rebuilt his career with spells at Ampthill and Doncaster Knights, before Saints came calling ahead of the 2024/25 season. He became Saint #2096 as a starter against Leicester Tigers in the PREM Rugby Cup in November 2024.
He would go on to score his first tries for Northampton in subsequent games against Nottingham and Tigers – sandwiching his Investec Champions Cup debut as a replacement away at Stade Français.
Brown added a third Saints try in his second outing of the 2025/26 campaign in the PREM Rugby Cup win over Harlequins, and also featured as a replacement in the fantastic away Gallagher PREM win against Bath at The Rec in December 2025.
WILL GLISTER
SAINT #2075, 11 APPS, 30 POINTS
Winger Glister hit the ground running in Black, Green and Gold, scoring a brace of tries against Ealing Trailfinders in the PREM Rugby Cup on debut back in August 2023.
That early promise was backed up by a further try in the same competition against Cambridge the following weekend.
A Gallagher PREM debut followed against Newcastle Red Bulls in season two as a Saint, an occasion he marked with a crucial try before half-time at Kingston Park in a game Saints won by a single point.
During his first two seasons in Northampton, the 20-year-old was also named in England’s Under-20 EPS squads.
EMEKA ATUANYA
SAINT #2071, 7 APPS
Northampton Saints’ Academy graduate Atuanya made his senior debut as a replacement in a winning cause against Saracens in October 2022.
During his time with Saints, the second row has also spent time on loan at Bedford Blues and Chinnor in the CHAMP, while his efforts around the squad saw him nominated for the 2023/24 Coaches’ Player of the Season award.
Injuries have played their part in limiting the number of playing opportunities in a Northampton shirt, with his most recent of seven appearances coming against Doncaster Knights in Saints’ 2023/24 PREM Rugby Cup campaign.
BILLY PASCO
SAINT #2105, 6 APPS, 5 POINTS
Formerly a captain of Saints’ Under-18s during the 2023/24 season, Pasco earned a Senior Academy contract in the summer of 2024 and made his first team debut against Nottingham in the PREM Rugby Cup that November.
A first start followed in the same competition against Leicester Tigers later that campaign, followed by a maiden try against Coventry at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
Centre Pasco has spent the majority of the current season on loan at Bedford Blues, scoring two tries in 11 appearances, while also adding two further Saints appearances in the PREM Rugby Cup against Harlequins and Leicester Tigers.
MARCO MANFREDI
SAINT #2120, 3 APPS
Italy international Manfredi joined Saints in October 2025 from United Rugby Championship side Benetton Rugby, as Northampton entered the season without the long-term injured Curtis Langdon, while fellow hooker Robbie Smith was also nearing the end of a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The 28-year-old – who has three Test caps and also previously played for Zebre Palma and Calvisano in his homeland – made his debut from the start in the PREM Rugby Cup win over Harlequins in October 2025, and added further appearances in the same competition against Newcastle Red Bulls and Leicester Tigers.
ARCHIE APPLEBY
0 APPS
Formerly an England Under-18s international, second row Appleby has added further international honours for Scotland this season during the Under-20s Six Nations – making his debut against Wales, adding a second cap against France before starting in the back row for the finale against Ireland.
Appleby followed in the footsteps of Saints Director of Rugby, Phil Dowson, by becoming Head Boy at Sedbergh School, and his leadership qualities were also recognised at Northampton, where he captained the Under-18 Academy side before injuries impacted his 2024/25 season.
The 19-year-old’s game time this season has come at Saints’ partner club, Bedford Blues, where he has made four appearances in the CHAMP so far.
JACK LAWRENCE
0 APPS
Second row Lawrence stepped up to captain Saints Academy all the way to the Academy League title, where he lifted the trophy at Kingsholm Stadium in February 2025.
He joined the Club’s senior squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, and would go on loan to CHAMP side Cambridge – making his debut at just 18 years of age against Ampthill. Lawrence has gone on to feature frequently for the Blood and Sand this term.
SIEP WALTA
0 APPS
Netherlands age-grade international Walta played a key role in Saints winning the Academy League title in 2025, thanks to some powerful performances from the back row.
He joined the Senior Academy on a University contract at Loughborough. The 19-year-old also previously spent time at Christchurch Boys’ High School, an establishment that lists All Blacks Dan Carter, Will Jordan and Andrew Mehrtens amongst its alumni.
