Super Rugby Round 1 Highlights: Crusaders v Brumbies

A very physical encounter between two sides who left nothing out on the field. The home side may have enjoyed the bulk of the territory and the possession but, the Brumbies were up to the task and stuck to their own game plan. The visitors were well organized on defense and really put their bodies on the line when called upon to defend their lines. The Crusaders look well oiled on the attack and created plenty of opportunities and were it not for the Brumbies defense the score line may have been very different. The Crusaders had to fight tooth and nail for this win and managed to get their first opening game win since 2012. Congratulations to Israel Dagg who celebrates his 100th Super Rugby game with a solid performance to help his side to get the win.
