The Stormers suffered their 10th consecutive loss in New Zealand against the Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

Waisake Naholo

  

Naholo was once again very dangerous on attack racking up impressive numbers as he beat 5 defenders, made 106 metres and 2 clean breaks.


He also grabbed a try and assisted another.

  


Salmaan Moerat

The young debutant had a massive impact for the Stormers after Chris van Zyl went down with an injury. He put in some big hits for the travelling side and was busy on attack with some strong ball carriers and solid ruck work.

Rob Thompson

 

Thompson was a star performer for the Highlanders in their open game of the season and continued that fantastic form against the Stormers.

The busy centre's passing game was on point throughout the game and consistently put his teammates into space and grab a try assist.

Luke Whitelock

The Highlanders no.8 hit double digits in the carries and tackles made categories. 

He also forced 3 turnovers and put the Stormers lineout under pressure the whole game.

Siya Kolisi

A huge effort in a losing cause Siya Kolisi put his body on the line throughout the match as his side failed to end their drought in New Zealand.

The Stormers captain was busy in all facets of the game as he challenged the Highlanders defence in the rucks and with the ball in hand.
