WATCH: Manu Tuilagi Season Opening Try

Leicester Tigers and England centre Manu Tuilagi marked his return to Premiership Rugby with a season opening try against Bath at Welford Road on Sunday.

The 26-year old powerhouse was sent home from an England training camp last month following 'team culture issues' alongside Sale Sharks marksman Denny Solomona.

Since he burst onto the international scene in 2011, Tuilagi has won just 26 England caps, only five of those have come since he toured with the Lions to Australia in 2013.

A series of untimely injuries and other off-field dramas has repeatedly halted Tuilagi's world-class potential. A severe knee injury at the start of year kept him on the sidelines for 7 months.

Tuilagi has a run of seven games to regain some sharpness and return to his previous lofty heights. England head coach Eddie Jones is due to name his squad for the November internationals on the 26th of October and with a bit of luck , the Anglo-Samoan could find himself back in the mix for a call-up to the Test scene.
