Gloucester Rugby is pleased to reveal the signing of back-row Jack Mann, from United Rugby Championship (URC) club, Glasgow Warriors, ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Before his professional debut, Jack was a standout for Heriot’s in the FOSROC Super Series and also represented Scotland U20.
The number eight’s first appearance in a Glasgow jersey came in a 22-19 win away to Bath in the EPCR Challenge Cup, in an eye-catching performance for the Warriors. Mann scored his first try in Glasgow colours in February 2025, crossing in a ‘Player of the Match’ performance in their 45-20 win over Dragons RFC at Rodney Parade.
At 6’5’’ and 115kg, Mann is a powerful presence in the back row, known for his strong ball carrying and big hits in defence.
Mann was called up to the Scotland squad for the Guinness Six Nations earlier this year, but is yet to win his first international cap.
Director of Rugby, George Skivington, commented:
“First and foremost, Jack is a big and powerful athlete, and that’s exactly the sort of profile we wanted to add to our back row, so that’s really pleasing. We feel he’ll complement our other back row options well.
“Jack’s had a great season, with some phenomenal performances for Glasgow this year and was rightly rewarded with an international call-up for the Six Nations, which shows how highly he’s rated.”
Mann added:
“I’m delighted to sign for Gloucester Rugby ahead of the 2025/26 season.
“It’s an iconic Club and everybody knows how special Kingsholm and the Gloucester fans are, it’ll be an honour to pull the jersey on in front of them.
“They’ve been really impressive this season, and with a couple of other additions coming in this summer, it’s a really exciting time to be joining.”
