Wales team to face Argentina Sunday

Head coach Steve Tandy has named the Wales team to play Argentina on Sunday 9 November in their first Quilter Nations Series match this November at Principality Stadium (KO 3.10pm GMT).
Captain Jac Morgan starts at openside flanker and Tomos Williams starts at scrum-half to make their first appearances for Wales since the Guinness Six Nations, having been selected for The British & Irish Lions this summer.
Dafydd Jenkins and Adam Beard return for Wales in the second row. Jenkins makes his first appearance since the Guinness Six Nations, while Beard features for Wales for the first time in 2025.
Alex Mann is selected at blind-side flanker and Aaron Wainwright completes the back row at No. 8.
Rhys Carré is named at loosehead prop to make his first appearance for Wales since 2023. Hooker Dewi Lake and tighthead prop Keiron Assiratti join Carré in the front row.
Dan Edwards is named at fly-half, his second start for Wales. Ben Thomas and Max Llewellyn pair up in the Wales midfield.
Josh Adams and Tom Rogers are selected on the wings, with full-back Blair Murray rounding out the starting XV.
Among the Wales replacements, back row Olly Cracknell is in line to make his Wales debut off the bench and Louis Rees-Zammit is in line to make his first outing in a Wales jersey since the Rugby World Cup 2023 quarter-final against Argentina.
Liam Belcher, who won his first two caps for Wales this summer in Japan, provides cover at hooker. Nicky Smith and Archie Griffin are the covering props. Freddie Thomas is the remaining forward replacement.
Kieran Hardy is the scrum-half cover and Jarrod Evans is the fly-half cover.
