Louis Bielle-Biarrey - The Record Breaker

An electrifying chaotic, heart-stopping masterpiece are the words we would use to describe the 2026 Six Nations Championship. From start to end, it was nothing short of entertaining and while each team and player contributed to that factor, there is one player who stood out in every match consistently. The 22-year-old French winger, Louis Bielle-Biarrey.

In the finale against England, he was named player of the match. He scored an impressive 4 tries out of the 6 that France scored. He made 4 clean breaks, beat 4 defenders but his defence was poor achieving only a 40% tackle success rate, but I am certain though that the bossman Fabian Galthie doesn’t pick him for his defensive capabilities.

Louis Bielle-Biarrey is now the second player to score 4 tries in a 6 Nations match, the first was Chris Ashton v Italy in 2011; he's finished this year's Championship with 9 tries, the most of anyone in a single edition, and has become France's top try scorer in the Six Nations era (18).

Some of his other 2026 6 Nations stats, he played all 5 games, he beat 13 defenders, made 8 clean breaks, and in total made 311 metres. He assisted 4 tries, has a total of 40 points and has only missed 2 out of 25 tackles.
