As a player who has caps in every England Rugby Men's Pathway age-grade, Sodeke
describes representing his country as 'a huge honour and very humbling' having won his
first four U20 caps en route to Under-20 Six Nations glory in March 2024.
Olamide started rugby aged 11 at Gravesend Grammar School before graduating as head boy
and is now studying Economics and Management at Kings College University. He joined
Saracens in 2021 and cites Nick Kennedy as his most influential coach.
The towering lock credits Blackheath RFC as his most influential community rugby club and
this will be his second World Rugby U20 Championship tournament. His proudest
achievement was lifting the 2024 Championship on his third tour to South Africa as a
pathway player last summer.
