Having joined the Northampton Saints Academy at U14 level, Oli Scola signed on for
Northampton Saints’ Senior Academy ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
Unfortunately, Scola’s U18s season was disrupted by a ruptured ACL, but the prop was
meticulous with his rehab though and earned the notice of Saints’ coaching team
enough to sign his first professional contract.
Scola played in four of the recent U20 Six Nations fixtures, getting minutes
against Ireland, Scotland, Italy and France.
FUN FACTS: Scola is a keen golfer. He grew up in Northampton, attending Northampton
School for Boys and played youth rugby at Old Northamptonians RFC. He states that his
proudest moment in rugby so far was signing his first professional contract with
Northampton Saints.
