Hailing from Sidcup, England, Gilbert is comfortable operating across the backrow and has developed into a quality loose forward. Having spend time at both Llanelli Scarlets and Mogliano, Gilbert was offered a contract with Bath in the English Premiership in 2012. Gilbert has become an inspiration to many across the game as he is partially deaf. The backrower has a Phonak hearing device fitted in his ear and has since become an ambassador Phonak to help raise awareness of hearing loss.
Gilibert will ply his trade with Hartpury College RFC in the coming 17/18 Championship campaign.
