On this day: Scotland claim a 25-25 draw with the All Blacks
On this day in 1983 Scotland recorded their best result ever against the All Black claiming a 25-25 draw at Murrayfield thanks to a late Jim Pollock try.

'Lucky Jim' Pollock chased down David Johnston's kick to pull the scores level, but fullback Peter Dods missed the conversion to seal an historic victory.

All Black flanker Mark Shaw had a try disallowed by French referee Rene Hourquet with just seconds left on the clock.

The All Blacks went onto lose their other game of the tour against England 15-9/
