Sammy Arnold ruled out until April

Connacht centre Sammy Arnold has been ruled out until early April after having chest muscle surgery.

Andy Friend could have Bundee Aki back this weekend after a knee issue, although he is only returning to training this week.

"He's close," said Friend. "He's doing some running this week. If he is fit we'll make him available this week.

"There's still a question mark on that, but he's not too far away."

Connacht are currently second in Conference B of the Pro 14, with five wins and four defeats from their opening nine matches.
