Gonzalo Bertranou is an Argentine professional rugby union player who specializes as a scrum-half. He was born on 31 December 1993.

Bertranou currently plays for the United Rugby Championship club, Dragons, and represents the Argentina national team.

Bertranou has been a regular player for the Argentina Jaguars since 2013 and currently serves as their captain. He competed in the 2015 World Rugby Nations Cup, where the Argentina Jaguars finished as runners-up to Romania.

His international debut for Argentina came in a match against Paraguay on 23 May 2015 during the South American Rugby Championship held in Asunción.

Bertranou's consistent performances led to his inclusion in the Jaguares squad for the Super Rugby competition in 2016 and 2017. He captained the Jaguares in 2016.

Although he initially earned five caps for Los Pumas, Bertranou found himself third in the scrum-half pecking order behind Martín Landajo and Tomás Cubelli.

However, he continued to work hard and ultimately secured his place in the national squad for the 2018 Rugby Championship.

As of June 2020, Bertranou has amassed 45 appearances for the Jaguares, showcasing his skill and dedication to the sport at the club level.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Bertranou has been named in the squad for Argentina.
