The ref blows the final whistle in what was another disappointing game of rugby for the Lions. The Blues started off well and scored the games first try just 7 minutes in through Rieko Ioane. The Lions hit back just ten minutes later through a try from CJ stander. The Lions looked to be going into the break with a small lead but a try in the last minute of the half by Sonny Bill meant the Blues went into the half leading 12-10. The second half was less exciting and in typical 6 nations fashion kept the scoreboard ticking over through penalties. The Lions looked to have had the game won but with 6 minutes to go the Blues scored a sensational try after two slick offloads. The Blues won out 22-16 and with a test series looming its not looking good for the Lions.
