Despite being born in Coventry, Jess has spent much of his life living in Cornwall. A pacey and robust winger, Jess is a quality operator when afforded any space. Educated at Cape Cornwall School in St.Just, Jess went on to represent the Cornish Pirates before spending a year at the Newport-Gwent Dragons. In 2008, the flying winger linked up with Exeter Chiefs and made his 100th appearance for the club against Worcester in 2013.
