Some exciting and entertaining Pro14 and Premiership clashes took place with free-flowing running rugby on display. Here is a look at today's top performers:
Glasgow Warriors v Cardiff Blues:
Niko Matawalu: In his 100th appearance for Glasgow, the Fijian had a day to remember showing blistering pace and a superb step to run in two tries in a man of the match performance.
Peter Horne: A solid outing with the boot slotting five successful conversions from six attempts.
Scarlets v Ulster:
Kieron Fonotia: Crossed for a try and had some great carries in the midfield as well as being rock solid on defence.
Dan Jones: Controlled the match beautifully with the boot and kicked well for posts and out of hand.
Johnny McNicholl: Always a dangerous threat with ball in hand.
Leinster v Ospreys:
Ciaran Frawley: Dictated the match well and exploited the Ospreys defence, kicked a perfect eight from eight of the kicking tee in a man of the match performance.
James Lowe: Always made ground with ball in hand on the counter attack with a deadly step and some great link up play.
Scott Fardy: A commanding performance by the Australian with some strong carries and solid defence and great athleticism to link up with the backs.
Worcester Warriors v Harlequins:
Matt Cox: Got over the advantage line with numerous strong carries and some big hits on defence.
Bryce Heem: An impressive debut displaying good speed and a keen eye for the gap.
Francois Hougaard: Brough great energy to the team with accurate distribution from the base and always a threat on attack.
Newcastle Falcons v Bath:
Toby Flood: In his 100th appearance managed the game superbly at flyhalf showing slick distribution and astute tactical kicking.
Ruaridh McConnochie: Came on in the first half and made an immediate impact, running in a try and breaking tackles with some strong runs.
Calum Green: A work horse with numerous tackles and a physical presence at the breakdown.
