Alberto Carmona began playing rugby in Spain, notably with Malaga. He joined Toulon in 2022, playing in their youth teams.
The 21-year-old fullback made his international debut during the 2021/2022 season, playing for Spain against the Barbarians in a test match.
The following season, he earned numerous caps for Spain, participating in the Rugby Europe Championship. He will be part of the Spanish U20 squad for the 2024 U20 World Cup in South Africa.
This season, he has been a regular with the U21 team, which reached the semi-finals after a record-breaking season with 15 wins in 18 matches. He also played a key role in Spain's impressive 2025 Rugby Europe Championship campaign, where they were defeated in the final by Georgia.
