Lachlan Albert

1st Jan 1970 1.86m/89kg Scrum Half

Albert, who was part of the Australian Schools team that toured the United Kingdom in late 2018, studied at Riverview College in Sydney before coming to Canberra.

The highly-regarded scrumhalf signed a three-year deal with the Brumbies in 2020, having graduated from the Brumbies Academy.

A two-time Australian Schools standout, the 19-year-old St. Ignatius’ College product made the move to Canberra from Sydney after High-School and excelled in ACT club rugby with Wests in 2020.

COVID-19 meant the tall-halfback couldn’t wear gold for the Junior Wallabies in 2020, but Albert did show glimpses of his supreme talent for both the Brumbies Runners and with Wests and will look to compete for a Super Rugby debut against and learn from the stacked group of Brumbies halves.
