Lorenzo Cannone, born on January 28, 2001, is an Italian professional rugby union player known for his role as a number eight. He currently represents Benetton in the United Rugby Championship.

Cannone's rugby journey includes playing for clubs such as Petrarca in the past. In June 2021, he joined Benetton in preparation for the 2021-22 United Rugby Championship, signifying a significant step forward in his professional career. He made his debut for Benetton in Round 1 of the 2021-22 season, facing off against the Stormers.
