WATCH: The Perfect Set-Piece Try From The Western Force

Returning from injury back-rower Isi Naisarani proved to be the hero scoring in Super Time against the Western Force, his former side, to see the Rebels to back to back victories.

The Melbourne Rebels claimed a 25-20 victory at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney on Friday in what was the first official match between the two sides since the Rebels beat their Melbourne rivals for Super Rugby survival in 2017.

Although the Rebels claimed the victory, it was the Western Force who scored the try of the game with the side down to 14-men.

With Richard Kahui packing down on the side of the scrum wing Byron Ralston made up for an earlier blunder by finishing a wonderful set-piece play that saw Test halfback Nick Frisby allow Lance to exploit an overlap and put Jack McGregor into some out wide.

The try put the Western Force up 17-13 but a missed penalty by Jono Lance later in the game and a Matt Philip try sent the game into Super Time.

The Rebels grabbed the restart after a mistake by Western Force captain Jeremy Thrush with Naisarani crashing over the line just over a minute into Super Time.
