Livewire Aaron Smith's All Black Debut

Aaron Smith has been widely regarded as the world’s top scrumhalf for the better part of a decade. His career, which was seeded at the Blues but blossomed with the Highlanders, has gone from strength to strength and delighted fans from all over.

After proving his mettle in a couple of seasons of Super Rugby, Smith was finally handed his All Black honours on 9 June 2012 when New Zealand took on Ireland at Eden Park in Aukland.

It was a game in which Ireland were always going to struggle and Smith was fortunate to cut his teeth at international level rubbing shoulders with the likes of Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Sonny-Bill Williams, Conrad Smith and Brodie Retallick.

Despite this advantage, Smith was impress in his own right, displaying the quick service and sniping attack for which he has become known.
