She started playing at the age of 5 in Jaén, and at 18 she went to Seville.
Lea also played in the World Series for several years with the Spanish rugby 7s team. Among her achievements,
she has been twice European rugby XV champion, third in Europe with the Spanish rugby 7s team, and Spanish
champion with her club.
She has also played judo.
An injury kept her away from rugby for several years.
